Hørsholm 79ers Basketball, DBBF and DGI is proud to present our annual Minibasketball Festival, a tournament
only for U13 kids and younger.
We are looking forward to welcoming up to 800 kids in our gyms.
Again this year, we expect lots of happy participants and to secure every team at least 4 games.
The tournament is played in age groups, so hopefully, everyone will play at matching level.
Tournament rules are based on DBBF’s (Danish Basketball Federation) youth rules.

Girls born 2006 | Boys born 2006
Age group 2006 plays 5 vs 5,
3,05 cm. baskets.
Girls born 2007 | Boys born 2007
Age group 2007 plays 4 vs 4,
2,60 cm. baskets.
Girls born 2008 | Boys born 2008
Age group 2008 plays 4 vs 4,
2,60 cm baskets.
Girls born 2009 | Boys born 2009
Age group 2009 plays 4 vs 4,
2,60 cm baskets.
Girls born 2010 | Boys born 2010
Age group 2010 plays 4 vs 4,
2,60 cm baskets.
Mix born 2011/12
Age group 2011/12 plays 4 vs 4,
2,60 cm baskets.
All teams will be playing with a ball size 5. Only born 2006 plays on big courts.
For everyone:
Hørsholm Minibasketball Festival is for everyone who loves the game of Basketball – teams, schools or friends.
We welcome every team no matter level or skills. We will have beginners as well as experienced players in the
tournament. We wish that you will bring good spirit and have fun playing the game we all love.
Location:
The tournament will take place in several gyms all around Hørsholm, Rungsted, Fredensborg and Kokkedal, north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Finals will be held at Hørsholmhallen, homecourt of Hørsholm 79ers Basketball Elite teams.

Snack meals:
There will be small cafés in every gym, where you will be able to buy snacks and drinks. We try to keep the café
offers as healthy and delicious as possible.

Clubs who needs accommodation can contact minibasketfestival@gmail.com before 10. April 2019 for further information. Prices for classroom accommodation and meals is:
Friday-Sunday 600 DKK
Saturday-Sunday 400 DKK
